Api tourism, a unique and innovative approach to sustainable tourism, offers an experience that explores the natural and unique exchange of beekeeping as a new way of life.

Api tourism is a form of tourism that is interested in cultures and is a development path that sustains the traditions of rural communities. The impact of the physical experience, which is one of the cornerstones of tourism, on tourists is significant in the economy and in people's socialization.

In this project, the aim is to host bee tourists in the modular and portable bee observation and experience farm I designed, ensuring the portability and modularity of bee tourism from an industrial designer's perspective. What sets this project apart is its design of a new and modular bee observation farm, departing from the existing models in Turkey, which all have fixed structures and contain standardized elements. By adapting the necessary examination and design considerations to more unique and mobile beekeeping models, the goal is to tailor bee tourism to appeal to both stationary and mobile beekeepers. This involves merging the concept with a new design approach.

In order to prevent the damage caused by mass tourism, alternative forms of tourism are being developed with different characteristics, where individual tours are prioritized over group consumption.
